From choral to cabaret
& beyond...
Guest House Opera is a small, London based, versatile company dedicated to writing and producing new musical theatre works in a number of genres, from rock opera to chamber opera and cabaret.
The group’s core repertoire is written and composed by in-house composer Christopher Wood. Christopher is a man committed to making GHO’s programmes refreshingly unpredictable, yet always lyrical and accessible.
GHO was originally founded to perform the rock opera Chains! At the Secombe Theatre, Sutton, Surrey in the 1990s. It is now active and thriving, producing new work for new audiences. Meet the rest of the team here
